    1. Kia ora Alan,
Eliza here. Thanks for your comment. And yes, I did think my foods that I would take would be weird… Well, do you know what you would take? And, are you doing the SLJ? (Summer Learning Journey).
      Thanks, Eliza

  2. Olá Eliza,

Welcome to the Summer Learning Journey. It is great to see that you have decided to join us and complete some activities. I hope you are enjoying your summer holidays and had a great Christmas with your whānau. I was lucky enough to get away with my son and spend some quality time with him and my immediate family. We spent a lot of time at the beach enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Have you been to the beach this summer?

What a great variety of foods you have decided to take on your sea voyage. Some of these items I haven’t heard of before, including pemmican, hardtack, and SPAM. I had to look them up and read that pemmican was sent with North American voyagers as it can be stored for a long time. What a great item choice. How did you hear about these foods?

Does this kind of trip sound exciting to you?

I really liked the slides you have put together as this creates a very attractive post. I really enjoy reading activities that have been put into a slide format. I am also impressed that you have included links to some websites that you have used to extract your information. Excellent work, Eliza. I am really looking forward to reading more of your work.

See you in the new year,
    Megan :)
